DeSean Stokes is a New York-based actor and musician, and member of the Actors’ Equity Association.

DeSean has worked with many companies including the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, August Strindberg Repertory Theatre, Triad Stage, Ars Nova, Morningside Players, HADLEY Players, the New York Musical Theatre Festival, and journeyed on a national tour with TheatreworksUSA, making stops at New York’s Town Hall and the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.

As a singer/songwriter, his music has been featured in projects for TV-One, MTV, Burger King and more.

Before pursuing an acting career, DeSean worked for the Voice of America in Washington, D.C., where he was an international radio broadcaster and a Charles Kuralt Fellow.

A native of Florida and North Carolina, DeSean is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill.

He is represented in New York by Meg Pantera, The Agency.
